THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at a very collectable radio. Made for Firestone, the radio extrudes the "industrial design" of the 1939 New York World's Fair. The radio is the brown Bakelite version, but this set came in black and an ivory version, too. The futuristic design screams of the premier pride the company displayed at this world famous event. Note the marbled knobs and preset levers, often missing. The radio is a bit dusty, but displays no cracks or chips. The radio has been repaired by my tech, and should offer years of beauty and great service. 13-1/4"W x 7-1/4"H x 7-1/2"D. |
