THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at one of the most distinctive and collectable radios. Made in 1933 by Jackson Bell, this is one of the three models named after the famed Peter Pan movie, which was all the rage in that year. Very compact, they managed to build a five-tube super-het in a tiny form. Some term these radios mini cathedrals, or shouldered tombstones; regardless, the radio is very unique in form. The condition is terrific, a fine refinish and the balance is all factory installed parts. My technician has done a fantastic job with his repairs, and the radio really performs amazingly well. He has replaced the old power cord with a fine silk reproduction cord with a new Bakelite plug. This is a blue chip radio that should be part of a fine collection. 12-1/2"H x 9-1/2"W x 7-1/2"D. |
