Emerson 636A (1949)
(plastic tube table radio)

Emerson 636A (1949)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The collector in me is always thrilled when I find that exceptionally fine condition radio. This is just that set, retaining such a fine luster to the perfect cabinet, that the photos were difficult with reflections off the glossy finish. The color is a reddish maroon color. The radio was designed by the world renown Raymond Lowery, and it shows the unique form his designs commanded. The radio sports a tubular dial, out of clear plastic with Lucite tuning knobs. This example is as clean as they come, no flaws and no clouding to the dials or knobs. The radio retains a full factory back. The radio has been serviced by my tech. A stable "All American Fiver," the radio has new filters and a fresh power cord and plug for your safe use. This is a great playing set in primo condition. 9-1/4"W x 7"H x 7-1/2"D.
