THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This one of the rarest Zenith tombstones. The radio is so scarce, this is only the second one offered for sale in my travels in the last five years. The radio is a classic highly crafted super-het, with a cabinet made, like most of Zenith's radios, out of the finest American Walnut. The condition is very good. The radio retains the factory speaker cloth and knobs. Note this model, like a few other models of the 1935 line up, does not have the "Z" wood knobs. My technician has done a fine job in making his repairs and has returned this six-tube beauty to a factory spec condition. He has added a fine silk reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug for your safe use. This is a impressively sized radio at 18-1/4"H x 14-1/2"W x 9-1/2"D. |
