Pathe "M" Cathedral (1932)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Pathe "M" Cathedral (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Pathe Radios were made in New York City. One branch of the famed French family came to this country in the 1920's, making some really fine phonographs. When radio burst on the scene they made just a few very fine radios, too. This is an all original perfect example of the model M. The radio is stunning with the intricate hand laid inlay along both of the columns. The radio is a fine statement of extreme elegance and made to the highest quality. Featuring the famed Pathe rooster on the escutcheon, the radio was the pride of a premier company. The radio is just as pristine inside as out. My technician has done a fantastic repair, making the early but powerful eight-tube early super-het sing. He has fitted the radio with a fine silk reproduction power cord and new Bakelite plug. This radio is a Grand Cathedral at 18-1/2"H x 16"W x 11-1/2"D.
