THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Most American radio collectors prize these American classic sets. With little wonder, as Zenith Radio represented the American production radios at their best. This iconic sets were well built and offered a distinctly different look to other radios of this era. This is one of the most favored models, as the styling is of a great architectural innovation, the skyscraper. This example has received a complete electronic repair, so it is a solidly good playing radio. This is a smaller version of the famed 808, yet offers a very similar performance. The radio looks like an older refinish with the factory installed speaker cloth and knobs. There is a tiny amount of veneer chipping on the top, which is very hard to see. This set is very well priced. 17"H x 12"W x 9"D. |
