THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at the very first example of this super powerful radio offered in the decade of "The Attic." This monster is an awesome radio, playing on four bands and using an eleven tube chassis. The radio is tied with the Philco 116B for the highest tube count, offered by this fine manufacturer. The radio offers a working shadow meter, and is about the finest super-het ever made. The condition is with a very fine original finish and a fine luster. The speaker cloth and knobs are original, too. The radio has been reconditioned by my tech, replacing the defective components and those yet prone to failure. The result is a perfectly playing radio and a fantastic sounding radio. I want to mention the huge size of this radio, something you would expect from such a high tube count radio. 21-1/2"H x 16-1/2"W x 15"D. These radios are a really exceptional tombstone. |
