THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio is really special. Made by the famed Wells-Gardner, this radio brought the finest technology of the super-het era to Montgomery Ward. The radio is a seven-tube model, with full electronic tuning. The radio has two extra knobs in the center of the set. One disengages the manual tuning, and the radio goes electronic. The second is a gain pot, which adjusts the sensitivity to taper the reception for the very best sonics. The radio is original in finish, speaker cloth and knobs. The brand new eye tube is intensely green, and opens and closes with great sensitivity. My tech gave this blue chip set a thorough repair and the radio is a terrific player. Note the waterfall speaker grille in fine condition and the beautiful cabinet made of American Walnut. This is a great listening radio. 23"W x 12"H x 11"D. |
