THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at a very unusual novelty radio. This set is seldom seen in this condition. These sets were very prone to breakage with the tendency of Bakelite to shrink with age. This particular one shows only the slightest amount, mostly around the dial bezel. There are no breaks to the larger Bakelite base, and the base retains a nice luster. The glassware is complete all the way down including the six glass swizzle sticks. You will have to supply the 70-year old single malt yourself. The glasses still have the larger amount of the gold banding, and are complete. The radio has been electronically repaired by my tech, and is a very good player. There is a full cardboard chassis cover on the bottom. 24"W x 11"H x 11"D. |
