THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a nice example of a most unusual novelty radio. The radio was designed as a high quality super-het, with the latest rage of a tuning eye. The radio dial is projected on to a screen dial with both number and the major clear channel stations, like a movie in a theater. Look at the additional photos. Thus, this set was unique. The radio also has a chrome chassis, in very good condition, which was built by Wells Garner. The radio is in good original condition, retaining all of the factory installed parts, showing some wear from the decades. The chrome to the chassis is very good, with no pitting and very little discoloration. The radio was restored by my tech, and performs fantastically. The green tuning eye is brand new and is very sensitive in opening and closing. Seven tubes and dual bands make this a great radio to listen to. 21-1/2"W x 12-1/2"H x 10-1/2"D. |
