THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at a stunning radio. Pickwick was a trade name of Knight Radio Corp, of Chicago. They were a national retail and catalog seller of the thirties. Like all of the other Chicago based sellers, they sourced their radios from hundreds of both named and unnamed factories. This particular set looks to me to be a set made by International Kadette, in Michigan. The radio is a super set, a new green super sensitive tuning eye, and a bright 5-1/2" dial with the Knight clipper on the dial. The radio is a quality radio, six-tube and a later super-het. My tech has given this radio a special restoration, as it is a highly desired set, and the quality of the craftsmanship makes this a fine listening set. This is a well sized radio at 18"W x 10"H x 9"D. |
