Zenith 12-S-232 "Walton" Tombstone (1938)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Zenith 12-S-232 "Walton" Tombstone (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at the best of the "Walton" Zenith radios. The huge twelve-tube chassis is the most powerful of the breakaway dial sets. The radio works perfectly, with a bright green tuning eye, and a strong electrically run motorized tuning. Note the copper colored factory speaker, along with perfect factory painted chassis showing no wear. The finish is factory original, showing a bit of wear for the 70+ years but still very nice. The speaker cloth is a very acceptable factory original, along with all of the factory installed "Z" wood knobs. This is about as nice an example as you will ever find in original, electronically restored condition. The performance of this set is remarkable, as my tech has given this blue chip radio the electronic restoration it deserved. Every aspect of the electronics has been serviced with a highly accurate tuner alignment and new power cord. 23-1/4"H x 17-3/4"W x 13"D.
