Those of you that are regular visitors to my page, know of my admiration for Canadian made radios. They simply made some of the finest radios of the era. Here is another exceptional example of why I feel this way. This fine six-tube super-het is a honey of a set. The radio is a dual band receiver playing both broadcast and shortwave bands. The fine cabinet is similar to the American made Ingraham cabinets, with the most detailed use of exotic and walnut veneers. The condition of the set is original and excellent. Note the unusual oval shape, and the large multi-colored dial. This very large radio has a dramatic presence. My tech has given the radio a complete restoration and the set performs as new. This is a very scarce collector set in prime condition. 17-1/4"W x 12-1/4"H x 10-1/4"D. |
