THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
It might be a surprise, but GM marketed radios in the early 1930's. They had an extensive dealer network and a method of displaying the sets at the dealerships. The radio is a terrific early super-het. The radio was before AVC, and has a toggle switch mounted on the left side for distance/local settings. The radio is made out of the finest American Walnut, reminding me of the A-K 84. The condition is original and very nice, with only an accurate replacement speaker cloth. My technician has done his usual terrific job on the electronics and this radio is a fine player. He fitted the radio with a fine silk replacement power cord and plug, for your safe and regular use. The radio is a "Grand Cathedral" at 19"H x 15"W x 10-1/4"D. |
