(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner R-1235 "Aristocrat" Tombstone (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at the reason everyone enjoys radios made by Stewart Warner. They made a fine quality radio in some of the most decorative cabinets of the era. This particular set has a ton of flourishes that you see on the larger and more expensive models. The radio has been nicely refinished and the chrome grille is still very bright with no pitting of the surface. I know the knobs and speaker cloth are correct, too. The radio has been professionally restored; the radio has all new caps and filters. The tuner section has been aligned and the radio is fitted with a fine reproduction power cord (silk), and a new plug. 12-1/2"H x 9-1/2"W x 8-1/2"D.
