This was achieved with a toggle switch to allow the switching from local and distance. The Atwater Kent company was the Cadillac of this era and joined the finest in electronics and cabinetwork. These were the very best radios money could buy. The radio has the original parts, speaker cloth, and knobs, in a nicely refinished cabinet. The artistry is stunning. My technician has given this set all of the necessary repairs and updates to assure you of fine listening and trouble free service. The radio is a powerhouse with great tone, power, and selectivity. This is a very large set at 20"H x 16"W x 10-1/2"D.
