This is the largest and most deluxe of all of the Atwater Kent tombstones. They wanted to exhibit their premier position in the radio world by displaying the finest radio made. The radio is a tremendous receiver, containing seven tubes and dual bands. The radio clearly was the finest made in 1933. You can see the fantastic cabinet inlay, veneer work, with a super sensitive super-het chassis. The condition is very fine, and the radio chassis has had the very best restorations. The filters and caps were replaced along with all of the factory installed rubber coated internals. The radio performs and operates as new. This stunning radio is the finest you can buy and is a large radio. 22"H x 16"W x 12"D. |
