THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at my favorite Philco Grand Cathedral. The set is a less traditional look than the model 90 and 70, but of similar size at 19"H x 16"W x 11"D. The radio is an eight tube, dual band set. The dramatic use of walnut veneers and the Deco like use of wood and style make this radio even more appealing. The radio has had the complete makeover. My technician replaced the filters and caps and every other element has seen the same level of attention. He has replaced the power cord and plug with a fine silk and Bakelite replacement. This model uses an early type of tuning meter. It is working as well as any one of these that I have seen. The radio sounds as good as it looks! This is a scarce and unusual model. The styling had to have been innovative for the era. This is a super set to own!
