Atwater Kent 90 Cathedral (1932)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Atwater Kent 90 Cathedral (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

There was no finer maker of radios in the 1920s and 1930s than the Atwater Kent Company. They were focused on producing the most advanced electronics and stunning cabinets. This is the premier model... the finest and most sophisticated of these early super-hets. Please note the fine matched veneers of the cabinet married with elaborate turnings. This is a fantastic example, with all original parts and a very good original finish. My service technician did a super job in restoring this radio to factory new condition. He has replaced all of the filters and caps with state of the art replacements. Every tube and component has been tested for factory new values and as always, a new silk reproduction cord and plug for your safety. This is a super playing radio, reflecting the company's intention of making simply the best radio money could buy. This is a large set at 20"H x 16"W x 10-1/2"D.
