Stewart-Warner 91-513 "The Spade" (1940)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at one of the "Holy Grail" sets in collector circles. This is one of the most unique and unusually shaped radios ever made. Even better, the radio retains an older and nice finish, and knobs. The set is a very fine example, and looking at the additional photos, you can see the most unusual shape. This radio is displayed in all of the more sophisticated Deco books, and honestly, this is only the second one that I have seen in thirty-five years of active collecting. The radio has been thoroughly reconditioned by my technician, who has done a very complete restoration. The filters were replaced and all of the caps. The speaker has been re-coned and the tuner aligned. I realize this is an expensive set, but it is an investment grade radio in very nice original condition. If you are a sophisticated collector, of blue-chip radios, this is a very fine find. 13-1/2"W x 10-1/2"H x 11"D.
