THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This was a top of the line three-band receiver from the height of the super-het era. Eight tubes and all the whistles and bells offered in 1936. The cabinet is all original as well as the speaker cloth and knobs. The finish is especially fine with ornate decoration and veneers. I have enjoyed the ornate and very well lit dial using the advanced watch dial tuning, which has made this a particularly fine receiver. This radio was completely updated with new filters and caps. The tuner is accurate with the highly sophisticated alignment performed by my technician. The radio has a brand new power cord and plug, so you are assured safe operation. This is a great listening radio! 18-1/2"H x 14-1/4"w x 12"D. |
