THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at one of my favorite Atwater Kent radios. They were as good a factory in this period, with a super electronic sophistication and terrific cabinets. This is a little smaller than most of this era, but has a "lacey" grille, like no other radio. The example before you has all original parts, and factory finish. My technician has done a super job in the restoration. He has replaced all of the filters and caps. Every other element is tested and the tuner is aligned for pinpoint accuracy. All of the rubber-coated wiring was replaced, and the radio is better than the day it was made. From a petite form, it offers a fantastic sound. 14-1/2"H x 12"W x 8"D. |
