Stewart-Warner 1361A Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner 1361A Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at a highly styled Stewart Warner deco tombstone. This was a more full sized model, with the detail and attentions to artistry are written all over the radio. It was made of the finest American Walnut with mahogany chevron splitting the grille opening and book matched veneers on the top. The effect is stunning! This is one of the "Craft-built" cabinets, which was S-W's answer to the famous Ingraham cabinets, marketed by some of its competitors. The quality of the artistry is dramatic. The radio is a seven-tube model, and plays on three bands. The set has seen a complete restoration. The filters and all of the caps replaced. The tuner was realigned and of course, a fresh power cord and plug. The radio should perform for decades longer! This is a collector quality radio, factory speaker cloth and knobs; and very scarce. One long look at the pictures will explain why you will want to own this radio! 20-1/4"H x 15"W x 12"D.
