THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Classic lines like a skyscraper, this tombstone offers dramatic good looks! The radio has dramatic veneers and retains an original finish. The set originally had a chrome bezel, which has wilted in its age back to the brass under the plating. I have left this in a natural state, with the graceful aging only adding to the set's good looks. My technician has done a through and complete restoration of the chassis. The radio is a terrific playing set, and will offer years of fine service. The factory-installed knobs are correct and with a new piece of speaker cloth, it is a handsome set! Please click on the extra photos, as the sides of the set are as detailed and ornate as the face of the radio. The chassis holds six tubes and this set was designed to play on two bands. 16"H x 14"W x 10"D. |
