Warwick Radio in Chicago, Illinois, made Croyden radios. They were a better quality maker, and sold mostly to the national retail giants that were located there. You sure do not see many radios under their own label, but rest assured they are high quality radios. This tombstone is a great playing five-tube model. I would suggest that all elements are original and the finish is very acceptable for the age. The dial, lights brightly and highly detailed in design. I have been listening to this radio for several days in the shop and I am very impressed by the performance and the fine restoration work done by the previous owner. You will be well pleased by this set. 15-1/2"H x 12-1/2"W x 9"D. |
