THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This radio is one of the most decorative and unique radios from the early 1930s. The radio is very tall and imposing at 21"H x 16"W x 11"D. This was a top of the line model, which must have been most impressive in the era. The radio displays with complete and perfect rep-wood embellishments covering the grille, and a most unique twisted braid along the front edges. Please look at the additional photos, which will allow you to see the fantastic original finish and the cleanest chassis you will find on a set of this age. My technician has done a terrific job replacing all of the filters and caps. He has returned every other component to factory new specifications. The radio is a super early "TRF," and is a very good player. The radio contains six tubes and is a single AM receiver. If you are a collector of rare and special radios, this is a fine radio to consider! |
