Sparton Jr. 410 Tombstone (1930)

Sparton Jr. 410 Tombstone (1930)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
One of the most distinctive radios of this era, the Sparton Radio Corp, from Jackson, Michigan, made a higher grade set. This radio has rather distinctive looks, with a highly ornamental grille and finials gracing either side. The radio cabinet has been restored using exactly lacquers and a high polish "piano" finish. The work is top-drawer and makes for the most beautiful example of this set that I have ever seen. The radio is a nicely sized unit at 19-1/4"H x 16"W x 11"D. Please click on the extra photos to fully appreciate the domed top and the elaborate detailing that made this radio even more special. The radio is a very strong and fine playing set, with all of the electronics renewed to factory specs.
