Air King Radio was a small factory in Brooklyn, New York. They were not widely distributed, but made some of the most prized radios from the era. This particular radio is more of a mainstream design, well made. The radio is a classic set for this era, made of a fine American walnut. The condition of the cabinet is very nice, and I believed refinished. This is a solid playing table radio. The green eye is very acceptable, and "winks" as it was designed to do. The radio has one of the cleanest chassis that I have ever seen on a 70+ year old set, so it must have been well cared for over the decades. 16-1/2"W x 11"H x 6-1/2"D.
