Crosley 124 "The Playtime" Cathedral (1931)
(x tube cathedral radio)

Crosley 124 "The Playtime" Cathedral (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is one of the most distinctive and impressive sets made in 1931. The Crosley Company was based in Cincinnati, Ohio and a family based business. This radio was made during the era of large and impressive sets, and many handcrafted and ornate cabinets. These early "grand cathedrals" were made in large cases to offer a full living room sized sound and entertain the entire family. Crosley was especially proud of the models they assigned names and model numbers. This radio in its form was rather flamboyant for the era, and with good reasons. My technician has done a beautiful restoration and the radio plays super! 17-1/2"H x 17-1/2"W x 11"D.
