Clago 531 "Mayflower" Cathedral (1931)
(x tube cathedral radio)

Clago 531 "Mayflower" Cathedral (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

I was floored to find this ultra scarce radio. At first, I confused it with the famed Croydon, but realized the set was a Clago Mayflower! This is s rather special radio. Note the beautiful use of birds-eye maple front and the steeple shaped top. The radio is further embellished with decorative columns of either side of the front of the radio. Seldom will you find a more labor-intensive effort made to a depression era radio. The radio has had a terrific restoration and it plays wonderfully for a "TRF" circuit radio. A very expensive number 245 output tube, to fill a good size room with a high quality sound, powers the radio. My technician has given this radio very special care, to appreciate the beauty and rarity of the set. Enjoy the looks these do not come available very often! 18-1/2"H x 15-3/4"W x 11"D.
