THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is one of the more uncommon Atwater Kent grand cathedrals. The set is a tremendously great looking set, with only the character and quality that his factory made as a cornerstone of the business. The radio is an early set, and retains a toggle switch for turning the set on and off, as the very earliest AC sets did. The radio is a seven-tube radio that was built to receive broadcast and shortwave. This is a larger and most impressive radio. My technician has restored the radio, completely. He has replaced the filters and caps, and returned all of the tubes to factory fresh quality. The radio is a strong player, and displays very nicely, with the factory original finish and other parts. Lastly is the fine silk reproduction power cord and new Bakelite plug for your safety. This is a seldom seen and offered set, and in very nice original condition. The radio will impress you as well as offering fine sound and selectivity. 19-1/2"H x 16"W x 11"D. |
