THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a rather unusual model from the people at Stewart Warner. They were known for the high caliber radios and cabinets in the 1930s and with a more decorative and high quality cabinet. This radio is a perfect example of the well-deserved reputation. The set is a contrast of veneers. The front is of birds-eye maple high lighted by rose wood and mahogany. The radio has an additional special dimension. The radio can be placed on its side as a rectangular table set, or vertical as a small tombstone; a very special feature. My technician has done the complete restoration will all new filters and cap. The radio is so nice; we left on the factory installed power cord and plug. A fine example! The measurements are determined by your placement of the set. As a table set, it's 13-1/2"W x 10-1/2"H x 9"D; as a tombstone, 13-1/2"H x 10-1/2"W x 9"D. |
