Stewart-Warner 1262A "Stuart" Tombstone (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner 1262A "Stuart" Tombstone (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Seldom do you ever see these exceptional radios pass from collector to collector. This radio is out of my personal collection, which has to shrink due to downsizing my residence. The radio is a spectacular radio with the dramatic shape and huge size (20"H x 15"W x 14"D). The large size only makes the factory use of various wood veneers and multi-layered angles all the more special. This radio is a true player. The radio has had the filters and caps replaced and all other elements tested and found to be in prime condition. The radio retains the factory power cord and plug, both in an acceptable condition, and retaining a factory inspection tag, from the time of the manufacturing! How many radios do you find with the factory paper work after 67 years? I an sure you will agree that this is one of the most gorgeous tombstones from the early 1930's and a prize for any collection!
