Philco Radio 16 Tombstone (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Philco Radio 16 Tombstone (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at a monster of a radio. This was the largest set made by Philco both in size and tube count. The radio is a reliable super het that has 11 tubes in the circuit. In an era of five and six tubes, you must appreciate what a radio with twice the tube count meant The sound from the super circuit and the large 22-inch tall cabinet, is fantastic. The front is in terrific shape and the balance of the radio in very nice original condition. My technician has done a stellar job with the electronic, ensuring you years of trouble free service. He has replaced all of the filters and caps. The balance of the restoration was done with the finest of performance considerations. Nothing was left undone, so all you need to do is simply plug it in and enjoy the special performance characteristics. 22"H x 17"W x 13-1/2"D.
