Remler 11 "Cameo" Tombstone (1931)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Remler 11 "Cameo" Tombstone (1931)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a seldom seen make and model of radio. The Remler company was based in San Francisco, California, and were makers of very high-end radios. They were known for fine battery sets and carried the gilt-edge approach into the "AC" era. This is an earlier type of cathedral radio. Note the on and off switch on the right of the set, an indication of a very early radio. The radio is a classic "TRF" radio circuit. The condition is fantastic, with all original finishes, speaker cloth, and knobs. The radio has restored very nicely, and is a decent player for such an early model. Note the fine woodworking and factory detailing built into the cabinet. The radio even retains its factory installed back! This is a rare collector radio. These are scarce and never offered for sale, so enjoy the pictures and give this radio your serious consideration. It is a blue chip collector's radio. 17-1/2"H x 16"W x 10-1/2"D.
