Stewart-Warner 1361A Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner 1361A Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is one of the choice receivers from the mid-1930s. Commonly called "The Magic Brain," this radio is a prize to the collectors and with good reason. Setting aside the gorgeous cabinet, with exotic veneers and fine inlays, the radio is a terrific player. The radio measures a graceful 20"H x 14-1/2"W x 12"D. The inside electronics are a super high-grade seven tube set, and a three-band receiver. The set is a particularly good player. It has seen a first class restoration, including all new filters, caps, and tubes as needed. The radio has a new power cord and plug, for safe operation. This is one of the "Ferrodyne" chassis and one good listen will more than justify the price!
