You are looking at one of my favorites. The radio is the much more decorative and ornate version of this early receiver. The condition is very fine, for the radio is 85 years old. Note the fine detailing to the cabinet and the use of ornate and exotic veneers. They sure stopped making such nice sets, due to the economic pressures of the Depression. This is a large and heavy radio. The earlier sets had larger power transformers, using iron, which increased the weight and reliability. The radio has had my usual through restoration and plays great. The filters and caps have been replaced with a complete upgrade to the tubes, and a full tuner alignment. The power cord is a fine silk cotton reproduction with a new Bakelite plug for your safety. No detail has been left to chance; the radio should service you well, for many years to come. Majestic in size at 19"H x 14"W x 12"D.
