(wood tube cathedral radio)

Atwater Kent 217 Cathedral (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Atwater Kent was one of the best of their day. The radio that you are viewing is a very good reason why! The radio was very advanced for the day, and true to the determined Philadelphia maker, with a cabinet to match. The radio has an original finish, in fact, all original parts. The replacement power cord is a fine silk reproduction, with a new "old style" Bakelite plug. The radio has had our complete makeover of new tubes, where needed. The radio has new filters, caps and a complete alignment. The most unusual style of design and the wonderful seven tubes, superhet two band radio is a great listening radio. Here is a great chance to add a scarcer, high quality set to your collection in very nice factory condition! 17"W x 13"H x 11"D.
