THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Montgomery Wards (Airline) was a quality maker of radios in the 1920s-30s. They made high-grade receivers and often in innovative cabinets. Here is a very fine example. This model has any number of interesting characteristics, and a very good radio as well. Note the curved side, and the very unusual telephone like dial. You tuned the set with the convenient pad and have a bright green tuning eye to fine-tune your choice of stations. The larger case allows an even sweeter tone quality. All of the radio is original, with the exception of the restoration work, consisting of new filters, cap and power cord for your safety and many years of trouble free service. 18"W x 9-1/2"H x 9-1/2"D. |
