Few makers of radios have ever been as prized as "AK's" These radios were made in Philadelphia, and were of the highest quality. If your Dad owned an Atwater Kent radio, it was because you were rich and it gave you something to be proud about. This is a fine example of their quality. The great looks can easily be seen in the photos, but I can assure you the operation of the set matches. A very complete restoration has provided this radio many years of future service. All areas, which require service, have been professionally addressed and the radio plays great! The condition and care of this set, even allows us to leave the factory-installed cord, still in terrific shape and with no need of replacement. Great care was give to this quality set, and it is a wonderful example of a high quality radio. It is a very good playing radio. 17"H x 13-1/4"W x 8"D.
