(wood tube tombstone radio)

Parmak 734 "Masterpiece" Tombstone(1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Enjoy looking at this set, as they are a very scarce set. The famed Parker McCrory Company made the radio. I have only seen two of these in 35+ years of active collecting. This radio is really a special set. The two-band radio is filled with a super advanced two-band receiver. The radio is filled with many advanced circuits that were not adopted by the industry for more than a half a decade later. The radio also has dual speakers, offering a sound and volume quality, unlike any other table set. The radio is also very unusual in size and shape. It's 22-1/2"H, which is almost 6" taller than any other table set, and 16"W. To make the effect even more special, the radio is narrow at 9-1/2"D. As you can see, the condition is outstanding, and all parts are original to the radio. Add the quality restoration with all new filters, caps and tubes as needed, and this most special radio is set for decades to come. If you are that level of collector who cherishes the very finest and rarest sets, this is a solid find!
