Setchell-Carlson 485R (1948)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Setchell-Carlson 485R (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is one of the stranger and more versatile radios ever made. Like the Zenith nurse radio, this set serves as a complete radio and intercom. The radio is ever so complete, with a fully functioning remote. The Bakelite case is in like new condition, with only a tiny scratch to show for the last 60 years. This set looks as if it has never seen any use and has had the complete restoration of new filters, caps and tubes as needed. The remote can be lengthened to your needs by simply adding common household wire available everywhere. Strongly styled in an industrial age look, this is one of the unique radios to add to your collection and use in everyday life!
