THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You might be surprised that this nice small tombstone is one of the scarcest radios on this web site. These compact four tube sets, are simply rare. The Victor Company was a better maker of radios, muscled out of business by the much larger and richer Radio Corporation of America. You see, at one time R.C.A. insisted they owned the patents that related to broadcast radio. Most other companies paid royalties to R.C.A. for the use of the technology. Some companies made it, and some didn't. Victor Corp was such a prize and improved on the R.C.A. name, they incorporated into their own. Complete electronic restoration and shelf sized at 13"H x 10"W x 8"D. This is a blue, blue chip radio! |
