| When I saw this set, I knew I had to buy it. I do not have much information to share, as I believe it is a homemade set. The crystal detector is a high grade detector, with a terrific Bakelite finish. All of the functions work, and it is complete with a working crystal. The cabinet, I believe, came from a vintage clock. These two were married together to create one of the more beautiful and unusual radio items I have ever seen. I connected a short antenna to the set, and through headphones received any number of stations, so it is more than beautiful.... It works! |
