The Atwater Kent Company of Philadelphia was considered one of the finest makers of the day. They offered advanced electronics and finely crafted cabinets. This is a nice example of a smaller sized cathedral. The radio is a good playing set and beautiful radio to look at. The radio known for the lacey grille, really distinctive quality makes it very unusual. The radio has had a complete electronic restoration, and retains all of the factory original parts.
