THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
There were very few companies in the 1930s that were any better makers of fine radios than Stewart Warner. They made some of the finest ones available, and the one before you is a fine example of how they earned their reputation. The set has a graceful look, with the curved side perfectly balanced with the Deco cut out grille. The set is highlighted with fancy burl inlays, and a classic porthole dial. All of what you are looking at is original, finish knobs etc, and with a complete electronic restoration, the set sings beautifully! The radio is a reasonable size at 15-1/4"W x 10"H x 9"D. The radio is an extremely clean example with a chassis that looks like it was made yesterday, and the factory paperwork still in the cabinet. This could be a really blue chip addition to your collection! |
