THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
The Philco 70 was the second most deluxe model of the grand cathedral series. The major difference from the famous model 90 is that it has a seven tube chassis instead of a nine tube lay out. The cabinets are very similar, and hard to tell visually from each other. The seven tube set did offer superior sonic quality and a stable receiving set. This set has had a very complete electronic and cosmetic restoration. The cabinet has had a very fine and factory correct refinish. The electronics have been restored by a pro with nearly five decades of experience. Everything has been to return this set to factory original appearance and performance. This set offers you a super chance to buy the all American classic, and at a more moderate price. |
