Silvertone 4566 (1937)
(wood tube table radio)

Silvertone 4566 (1937)

Silvertone was the flagship of the Sears chain and a follow through of WLS, "the world's greatest station." Long known for sold values and great serviceability, these radios were workhorses. The finish is acceptable, showing only a little wear on the top. I do not think it is a refinish job, but with a little effort, returned to the original perfect state. Playing well, and a good winking green eye, this solid set can be bought at a moderate price. 17-1/2"W x 11-3/4"H x 9-1/2"D.
