Emerson 556 Cathedral (1933)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Emerson 556 Cathedral (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Seldom do you ever see an Emerson cathedral available for sale. This is a real beauty, with an older refinished case. The set displays perfectly! This is rather unusual for a cathedral of the earlier type, using dual dials, which was more common several years later. The radio has had a though electronic restoration, and has great sound and volume. Please note the original balloon #80 output tube, still on the job and working well! This set even has a fine replacement silk cord and Bakelite plug... restored inside and out. The set weighs 16 pounds packed. 15-1/2"H x 13"W x 8"D.
