| These Philco AC/DC portable radios are hard to find in good condition due to their portability and heavy use. This rare green case model has no cracks or missing plastic parts. All capacitors have been replaced and all tubes where tested for best performance. The radio was tested on AC only and plays loud and great. It was not tested on DC power. To operate on DC it would require one P-67 battery (not sure if still available) and two "D" cells. The chassis has no rust and is like new. One minor issue is that on certain occasions the back of case does open slightly when the radio is handled or moved. This does not affect operation or performance. |
